Dr. Jason G. Cooney was born and raised in New York City where he attended high school at York Preparatory School.  He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Psychology.  He then attended the University of Bridgeport for chiropractic school. 

Dr. Cooney is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy; and holds licenses in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.  He continues to expand his knowledge by attending continuing education courses in a variety of related specialties.  Dr. Cooney is also a member of ANJC, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.

OUR PRACTICE
Following his education, Dr. Cooney worked at a multidiscipline office in New Jersey for seven years.  During this time Dr. Cooney worked closely with medical doctors, physical therapists and acupuncturists.  Most recently Dr. Cooney has opened his own office in Clifton, NJ where he focuses on family chiropractic care.  Dr. Cooney's diverse patient base includes: expectant mothers, children, active adults and seniors. 

Dr. Cooney spends much of his time volunteering within his community.  After the September 11th attacks, Dr. Cooney volunteered for the Red Cross treating firemen, policemen and other workers at Ground Zero.  Dr. Cooney has also volunteered his time for the New York City Marathon as well as local high school athletics.  He is a member of the Rutherford Elks, where he has held several officer positions and is currently the Scholarship Chairman.  Dr. Cooney volunteered his time and services to the many deserving walkers of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York in October 2010.
